38 left out of 113 at Day1D: Ciani leads!

The first flight of the second round of the Night of the Aces 200,000 guaranteed was a great success, with 113 players joining the 244 of the first week for a total of 357 entries. The field for this Day1D is full of big names, in addition to those who had won tickets in the Super Satellites on Monday and Tuesday. Among the big names seated at the tables of the Admiral Poker Room were Claudio Swissy Rinaldi, Sergio Castelluccio, Fabio Coda, Giannino Kart Salvatore and Antonio Bernaudo, who was eliminated in one of the last hands on his birthday. Among the top players present was Luca Stevanato, winner right here in Mendrisio of La Notte degli Assi Platinum in May 2022. After the canonical 13 levels of play of Day1 there were 38 players left and qualified for Day2B on Saturday 28 January at 4pm. The best of them was Giovanni Ciani, who signed up right from Super Sat and bagged 306,000 chips. For all those eliminated, there are still two chances to sign up: Day1E today at 6pm and Day1F on Friday, also at 6pm. For both Day1s, it’s a good idea to arrive at the cashiers’ desks at the Casino in Mendrisio well in advance in order to avoid queues or waiting lists.
