SCOP 100k: instructions for use

The Swiss Championship of Poker is once again making a stop at the Casino in Mendrisio with a very rich programme that includes a Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000 and two side events, both one-day, one for four-card stud players and one with a guaranteed prize pool of €20,000.

SCOP’s Main Event is composed of six qualifying flights, two Day2s and a Final Day that sees all qualifiers in the prize pool. The format is well-established and features a €225+€25 buy-in, a €50,000 starting stack and 30-minute levels on Day1 with only one re-entry per Day and 10 late registration levels.
It starts on 24 May at 6pm with Day1A to which all those who have won tickets to the Road to SCOP tournaments held in the Admiral Poker Room since 1 February are entitled. A total of 50 tickets worth €250 were awarded in the preparatory tournaments for the Swiss Championship of Poker, which can only be played on 24 May. No exceptions will be allowed. This is followed by Day1B and Day1C at 6pm on 25 and 26 May respectively. All qualifiers at the end of the 13 30-minute levels of Day1A, Day1B and Day1C will be able to sit at the tables of Day2A scheduled for Saturday 27 May at 4pm, where 11 40-minute levels will be played.
Those who did not make it through to the Final Day by playing Day2A can try again on Day1D, Day1E and Day1F on 31 May, 1 and 2 June, also at 18.00. Day2B, in which the qualifiers from the last three flights take part, as with Day2A has 11 levels of 40 minutes each. The Final Day on 4 June, which closes the poker event, sees all the qualifiers in the prize pool and the proclamation of the next Swiss Poker Champion.
Accompanying the Main Event is the €20,000 guaranteed SCOP ONE, the “all in one day” Side Event on Sunday 28 May. Start at 3 p.m., 30,000 stack, 30 minutes per level and 10 tickets worth €250 to play the Day1D are up for grabs for the top 10 finishers in the tournament.
Another not-to-be-missed event for Omaha fans is the Swiss Championship of Pot Limit Omaha which takes place on 29 May at 6pm and features a €350 buy-in, 30,000 chip stack and 30-minute levels.

It is possible to register for the Main Event from 18 May at all cashiers of the Casino Admiral Mendrisio or to reserve your seat at a Day1 by filling in the form on admiralpoker.ch or by sending an e-mail to admiralpokeroom@gmail.com.
It is only possible to register for the side events on the day of the tournament from 11 a.m. onwards, i.e. on 28 May for SCOP ONE 20K GTD and on 29 May for SCOPLO.

Every day from 24 May to 4 June (except 30 May), starting at 8 p.m., there will be a restaurant service at the Admiral Poker Food with a menu dedicated to the tournament players. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Admiral Cafés of the Casino Mendrisio.
