Bartolone wins the first SCOPLO

Leonardo Bartolone is the winner of the first Swiss Pot Limit Omaha championship that opened the Swiss Championship of Poker at the Casino Admiral in Mendrisio. The “4-card” one-day tournament was in fact the tasty prologue to the €100,000 guaranteed SCOP that will start today with Day1A. The event with a €350 buy-in saw the participation of 54 players for a total prize pool of €16,200. The first €6,000 coin was won by Leonardo Bartolone, a historic player of tournaments in the Canton of Ticino, who lined up opponents with big names. Second place went to a great specialist of the 4-card variant in the Italian canton like Vittorio Castro. Just outside the ‘in the money’ zone was Cesare Augusto Poggi, the historic winner of the first SCOP 100,000 guaranteed. Among the 54 entries were some Omaha sacred monsters like Carlo Braccini and top players of international calibre like Claudio Swissy Rinaldi.

With the curtain down on the Omaha tournament, the Casino Admiral in Mendrisio is returning to Hold’em and preparing for 10 days of SCOP 100,000 guaranteed. In all, 6 Day1 and 2 Day2 in a tight schedule that you can find on the website www.admiralpoker.ch.
