Also in this edition of the Swiss Championship of Poker, the second ever hosted by the Casino Admiral in Mendrisio, the “4-card” side event, called Swiss Championship of Pot Limit Omaha, cannot be missed. This is the second date with the tournament that everyone knows by the unmistakable name of SCOPLO. The previous edition was won by Leonardo Bartolone, last 15 September, and was attended by no less than 54 players. This time SCOPLO will not be the prologue to SCOP 100,000 guaranteed, but will be embedded in the Main Event programme. In fact, the tournament dedicated to 4-card stud enthusiasts will be played on Monday 29 May with start at 6 pm, at the beginning of the second week of SCOP, the poker event that will take place at the Casino of Mendrisio from 24 May to 4 June. SCOPLO’s format will be the traditional one with a €350 buy-in, 30,000 chip stack and 30-minute levels. Late registration will be after 10 levels of play, at approximately midnight. After the first 5 levels there will be a Dinner Break and only one re-entry per player is available. Registration is possible at the cashiers’ desk at the Casino Admiral in Mendrisio from 11 a.m. on 29 May. So Omaha fans can already mark the date of 29 May on their calendars for the next edition of SCOPLO at the Casino in Mendrisio.
