The Swiss Championship of Poker is coming and the Admiral Casino in Mendrisio and Locarno are preparing by embarking on the Road to SCOP. The big news is that in addition to the Sunday tournaments in Locarno, a “one day” event in Mendrisio is also officially presented. This is the Road to SCOP 10’000 € guaranteed, which will take place on 1 August to coincide with the anniversary of the Swiss Confederation. The tournament’s subtitle ‘Happy Birthday Switzerland’ puts the event in the context of the celebrations for the most important anniversary of the year at national level. And it could only be otherwise in anticipation of the Swiss Championship of Poker, which on 25 September will crown the new Swiss champion of the discipline. The Road to SCOP 10’000 € guaranteed tournament will start at 6pm on Monday 1 August and will have a starting stack of 40,000 chips with 30-minute levels. The buy-in will be €125+25 and each player will have the option of a maximum of two Re-Entries. Late registration will end at the end of the 10th level and the chipleader at that time will receive as a prize a ticket worth €250 for the SCOP 100,000 guaranteed in September. The top 3 finishers at the end of the tournament will also receive a ticket each worth €250 for SCOP. All SCOP tickets won can only be used in Day1A, Day1B and Day1C.

Registration for Road To SCOP 10’000 € guaranteed is open at all cashiers’ desks at the Casino in Mendrisio from 25 July. To be sure of having the seat reserved on 1 August, the only way is to go to the cashier’s desk from 25 July and register. It is not possible to do this by e-mail.
