The €100,000 guaranteed Swiss Championship of Poker to be held at the Casino Admiral in Mendrisio is about to begin. As of August 29, registration for SCOP is officially open at all cashiers at the Casino Mendrisio. All players already have the opportunity to purchase the €250 buy-in at the cashiers and thus secure their participation in the next stage of the Swiss Poker Championship. Of course, it will be possible to choose which of the 6 qualification flight to participate in. Of course, the possibility to buy-in in advance also applies to SCOPLO, the 350 Pot Limit Omaha single-day tournament that will take place on September 15. The Admiral Poker Room recommends taking advantage of the opportunity to buy-in in advance in order to avoid queues at the cashier’s desk on tournament days or long waiting lists. Purchasing the buy-in in advance is the only way to be sure of taking part in the tournament.
As a reminder, the Swiss Championship of Poker 100,000€ guaranteed will be structured over two weeks. On the first three days, Day1A, Day1B and Day1C will be held on September 16, 17 and 18, respectively. Players who qualified in the first three flights will meet again on Day19 for Day2A with the goal of going in the money. Then, SCOP will observe a one-day break and will resume on Day21 with Day1D, followed on the 22nd and 23rd by the last two available flights, Day1E and Day1F, respectively. The qualifiers of this second tranche will meet again for Day2B on Saturday, September 24. The following day, Sunday, September 25, will be the Final Day with the election of the new Swiss Poker Champion. The buy-in for this SCOP will be 250 euros, the starting stack 50,000 and the levels will increase from 30 minutes on Day1 to 40 on Day2 and Final Day. Only one re-entry will be available for each Day1 and late registration will go until the end of the 10th level, while 13 levels will be played in each Day1. All those who are in possession of tickets won during the Locarnese Road to SCOP tournaments will be able to use them in the first three qualifying flights, i.e. from Day1A to Day1C.
Those wishing to reserve their seats for SCOP can do so using the registration form on this site or by sending an email to email@example.com indicating the Day1 of their choice. The reservation will be valid until the start of the chosen Day1, after which if the buy-in is not paid, the reservation will be considered forfeited.
